This is one of the most important women in my life and I've never met her in person. She has taught me things I would have never imagined about the love of God and the staying power of man. I love you, Care, for posting the scriptures, the encouragement, and all the prayers.

What are Tears?
Tears, are they just salty little driplets of water? Are they something more?
My tears are like little reflections of my heart, a small snapshot of my pain, a quiet droplet from my joys. They reflect the inner me that no one and nothing can corrupt. They are my tears and I am filled with a lifetime of them.

Embracing Me
I've had to learn to embrace me. I don't need a relationship, friendship or validation from any other source than my Creator. But until I embrace me, I've not fully yielded to His perfect will and love. I embrace myself because I am made in the image of my Heavenly Father. I embrace me because there is nothing in life I'm more responsible for than myself.

Becoming: The Poetry that Changed My Life
The poetry in Lacresha Hayes' sweet memoirs, Becoming, changed my life forever. There are many things I don't know how to express, but I can't think of any of it I didn't feel and read about in her book. This is the poetry that will keep ringing in my heart for the rest of my life.

Wackiness
I've been wacky my whole life. I am a fortunate little daddy's girl who grew up appreciating her dad's own corky version of comedy. He was a prankster, a real joker. I love that even today, when I go home, he is still just as entertaining and I am equally entertaining to him.
We're a wacky family of McLemores, but we love life and can find the comedy in anything.

I Hate Tulips
I don't care much for tulips. In fact, I could say that I pretty much hate them. They remind me of things I'd rather forget. Boo to tulips. A fresh and warm welcome to carnations or daisies.

Just In Case
We all have those just in case plans. We have emergency funds just in case something happens. Sometimes though, we have back up plans for things that shouldn't have them.
We date around, we sleep around and I've done my share, just in case the current one doesn't work out. Now, I need a plan for those just in case I'm making a mistake moments.

Blossoming
Have you ever watched a new blossom?
Life is all about blossoming. We grow, expand, change, go through an extensive metamorphosis. And when all of that is complete, we become a perfect new creature. A new blossom. I can close my eyes and smell the aroma.

Loveliness
What is lovely to me?
I think the most lovely thing I can think of is how a puppy loves his new master. He's chubby and awkward, but no matter how many times he slide down, he finds a way to his master when the door opens. He always misses the master. He is always there to greet him.
A close second, if not a tie for first, is seeing a couple in love stare at one another, gently touching one another or kissing in public. I'm all for public displays of affection.

What Do I Love?
After this last breakup, I ask myself questions that I never have before. Such as, what do I love?
I love long walks, sand in my toes, snowball fights, roasted marshmallows, homemade lemonade, watching the sun rise, watching the sun set, flowers in my hair, smiles on my mom's face, hanging out with close friends and trying new foods.
